An exploration of photographic resources from 2013-2016 with the aim of finding another space with an insight into the truth of life.
The title of the exhibition ‘ The Authentic Portrait’ because I tried to find the image of people based on the things around them, without the theatre of posing, styling, make-up or creative light.
The selected works are for me a study showing the type of person, the image of a group, a profession and at the same time an attempt to look into the souls of the portrayed.
Transferring these images into images more lasting than mere memory crowns the goal.
I have consciously limited the colour palette to shades of black and white, conveying information to the viewer about the feelings, personality and character of the models, leaving a margin of indeterminacy, as an interpretative value for the viewer.
